Name

"Beethoven's Ninth"

Description

Join your Austin Symphony Orchestra for a program of gigantic proportions, ending with none other than Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the award-winning voices of the Conspirare Symphonic Choir along with guest vocalists. The curtain opens with Mozart's Misericordias Domini, K. 222 followed by Haydn’s Symphony No. 104, commonly known as the “London Symphony” and considered a favorite in the concert hall. Five stars for this marvelous March concert weekend!

PROGRAM:

WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART: Misericordias Domini, K. 222
FRANZ JOSEPH HAYDN: Symphony No. 104 in D major, London
LUDVIG van BEETHOVEN: Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125, Choral

Still want more? We also have a wonderful pre-concert talk given by Bob Buckalew at 7:10 pm. Take a photo in front of our photo wall. Feeling a little peckish? Our friends at Spectrum Catering will be offering meal options before the performance and during intermission.
