Pianist Anton Nel pays homage to Ludwig van Beethoven with two evenings of captivating performances. Friday's program features a selection of Beethoven's piano concertos, including the delightful Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Op. 15, the elegant Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major, Op. 19, and the majestic Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major, Op. 58. Saturday's repertoire includes the dramatic Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus, Op. 43, followed by the passionate Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Minor, Op. 37, and the iconic Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major, Op. 74, Emperor.
